The Tombs of the Kings

After having as much fun as we did yesterday at the archaeological site we decided to brave the cold today and visit the Tombs of the Kings. Also designated as a World Heritage Site this area was never the final resting place for actual royalty but may have been a cemetery for influential local citizens. It certainly didn’t have the same level of detail as yesterday but was still very cool. Despite ungodly winds and a bit of rain as we were leaving it was well worth it and definitely something to see the next time you’re in town.  Check out the pix below.
