Out and about today…

After an awesome lunch of BLTs we turned on the water heater, got cleaned up, then braved the road into to town. I say braved for a few different reasons. First we’re kinda up in the hills and the switchbacks can seem a bit daunting to navigate. On top of that there’s the whole driving on the wrong side of the road deal which is so counter intuitive. Then there’s the fact that since Zain (my mobile phone company in Kuwait) charges something ridiculous like $15/MB for roaming data we’re without any reliable navigation while were on the road. Nevertheless we did manage to get all the way into Paphos, find the grocery store we were looking for, fill up the car, and get back without incident. Not bad at all if you ask me.
