So our last day at Disney was one of our best weather wise – not stiflingly hot, no rain, plenty of sun. We started things out at the GF with a character breakfast with Winnie the Pooh and Mary Poppins. Then the girl’s had the last little surprise of the trip – a princess tea with Aurora. It’s like English tea meets Disney. The girls get a little doll, there’s food, music, plenty of face time with Princess Aurora and her folks – good times all around. I took a little trip over to Downtown Disney to visit the Lego store while the tea was going on. We all regrouped at the GF monorail terminal and hopped a ride back to EPCOT. We had an early dinner at the Living Seas and then toured around there – checked out the huge aquariums, did the Turtle Talk thing with Crush, and rode thru the reef with Nemo. Then we went back to The Land were we finally got to ride Soarin – although the line was like two hours long. We played the Wii-like games with the rest of the crowd while we were waiting so that was fun. Our last ride at the park was Living with the Land where they take you through all the hydroponic gardens – very cool.
All in all we had a great time! I swear if I had asked one of the Disney folks to arrange a few minutes for us on the moon they would’ve come up with something. Everything runs so smoothly, everyone is inviting and accommodating, we just really dig it. Taking Cheyenne was a lot of fun too. She put up with our constant picture taking – as you have seen – and was so much fun to have with us – Sydney was especially excited to have someone to pal around with the whole time. Anyways, we had a great time and hope that you enjoyed the trip as much as we did. Last round of pix below.
