Green in Kuwait?

Farmland in Kuwait - craziness

So I’ve been working on putting together a land deal to help support a team of American contractors who were looking to put in a bid in response to a recent DLA solicitation.  They need a pretty good hunk f land so I’ve been running around town trying to find them a spot that would work.  After I tour a spot I usually throw together a little report and a hndful of pictures so they can see each location in reference to the next.  Last Sunday I went out to the farm area near Amgarah to check out a possible spot.  The facility was pretty good but while I was out there the land owners took me out to the rest of their area which is all farmland.  It was one of the weirdest things I’ve seen since being here – there were fields of green as far as the eye could see.  There were tractors and combines, bails of hay, tree lined streets, livestock – the whole nine yards.  So they let me take pictures of whatever I wanted so I thought I’d share some with you.  Enjoy.

Almost all the roads around the area looked like this or were completely canopied by trees
Waiting for the next planting?
