GHFD Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Our very own Lego City – Godwins Hollow – had a very big day today. The Godwins Hollow Fire Department held a ribbon cutting ceremony for their brand new fire house and Sydney was asked to cut the ribbon! Lots of folks turned out – most of the Fire Department’s leadership were there, the mayor came to oversee the ceremony, and lots of local media covered the event as well. It was a very big deal as you can see below.
The new fire house should serve the GHFD’s needs for many years to come. It houses all five of the department’s vehicles include the three engines, has a helipad for airborne operations, work space, as well as the usual living areas, kitchen, bunks, and of course a required fire pole!

All is can say is WOW! I like the vehicle maintenance shop. It rivals the one I have in my Squadron! Great place to fix trucks!
As you know, you are insanely awesome!!
