Crystal Bridges Museum, Bentonville, AR, USA

The Crystal Bridges Museum is on of American Art.  It is in Bentonville, AR in supported almost entirely (if not entirely) by the Walmart corporation.  When the girls went down to Cassville, MO to visit Aunt Andrea and Uncle Tom they took a little side trip with everyone down to the museum.  Apparently it was a quick trip because Sydney was grumbling about having not been able to spend as much time as she would’ve liked there.  It looks like a beautiful facility with some very impressive pieces.

In their own words “Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art welcomes all to celebrate the American spirit in a setting that unites the power of art with the beauty of landscape. We explore the unfolding story of America by actively collecting, exhibiting, interpreting, and preserving outstanding works that illuminate our heritage and artistic possibilities.”

Here are some of those possibilities now:

This is the one piece that Anita photographed that she didn’t get the data plate on it so I don’t know who this is. But the fam is in the background.
Sydney and President Washington.
These are four nature scenes – Sydney like the butterfly…
