Apparently we live next door to a car guy…

So like a month ago the next door neighbor had a Bentley dropped off. It showed up in a softside container and everything. When we first moved in here he was parking the overflow from his showroom in our space and few folks told me I had some high end cars under our shade. Eventually I got them to move but it took a while. Well today there was another drop off. It was a Ferrari 550 Maranello. This line was discontinued in 2001 but hey – a 10+ year old Ferrari is still a Ferrari. Being the nosy neighbor that I am I of course jumped right up to the roof and got a few quick pix and then looked it up to see what it was. After looking around online it seems that these things sell for around $80K. While a near $100K car isn’t anything to turn your nose up at I’ve seen Fords that went for that much once you got all the extra’s on them so I’m guessing this would be the “people’s” Ferrari. Which would be a good thing if I ever thought about something like that – judging by the size of it I’d need two and would have to wear them as skates. Anyways, enough turning my nose up at it – picture below.
