Tonight is the Guiding Sleepover in celebration of British Girlguides in Foreign Countries being 100 years old. Anita has been organizing it for the last couple of weeks in her capacity with FOG – not for nothing but catering dinner, snack, breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, and cake for 100+ girls is not exactly a cake walk. She’s done a terrific job and I’m sure the event will be a huge hit with the guides. Several of the other parents have also chipped in preparing traditional dishes from the founding countries the BGIFC started in and a few brave souls have even volunteered to stay overnight!
Any ways – what does any of this have to do with the title of the post? Well, Amy is in Sydney’s Brownie unit and she came over after school before we all head over to the sleepover. Sydney got her bag packed, the girls had some chicken nuggets and noddles (Sydney’s go to dinner plan) and then they hit Godwins Hollow – our Lego City. They’ve been out there legoing for over an hour so it must’ve been a hit. They put up with me trying to take a few pictures and Amy made a sigfig so she’ll have a permanent spot in Godwins Hollow too! Alright, gotta add some pictures and get outta here – sleepover stuff to set up.
