So I’m sure there are a few people out there who have heard of “Jen” the ‘dear-God-I’m-going-to-pee-my-pants-funny’ author of the PIWTPITT blog. She went on a bit of a rant about some folk’s “over achieving” elves on the shelf that apparently took her from a readership that would smack my numbers down any day of the week and twice on Sunday to like tens of thousands a day. She’s pretty damn funny – and not in the way I think I’m funny but like really funny.
Anyways, Anita’s been a fan for a while but I just started reading lately after I saw the bit on her elf – Little Bastard AKA Choppy Elfie. I went to check things out the other day and wouldn’t you know it – the Ministry of Communication has decided to block her site for ‘unwanted content’. Now, I get blocking most of the stuff Anita reads (gossip sites that I fear will lead to the apocalypse), being the greedy SOB’s that they are I even get them blocking Skype as it cuts down on their revenues, and as we live in WallyWorld with all their ‘fun time’ rules I get blocking adult material and wine making instructions. But this blog is seriously just social satire – the hilarious rantings of one woman (maybe that’s it) a third of the way around the planet. Just one more for my list when I have to argue with a local about how they live in a dictatorship and wouldn’t know a free society if it smacked them across the face.
