A Bountiful Harvest…

The fruits of 'our' labor

Yeah, I know, we really do rock.  So much so that even our garden rocks.  And not in the English sense which would mean our awesome soon to be flower filled yard but in the ‘wow you grew that in YOUR garden’ sense.  A garden?  In Kuwait?  Again, I know you’re thinking its not possible but through quite a bit of hard work and more than one green thumb we have a full blown vegetable garden.  It’s a team effort and everybody pitches in.  I bought the seeds on Amazon and had them shipped over, Anita received the seeds at various times as presents, Jenny does the tilling, planting, watering, weeding, tending, harvesting, and a few other minor things, and Sydney – well she does quite a bit of the eating.  We took a few pictures of some of our recently harvested awesomeness for everyone to share.  We’ve got lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers (several different varieties), cilantro, parsley, basil, chives, spring onions, carrots, and even corn!  I have to say that the house salsa blend is completely floatsome!  So, there you go folks – fresh vegetably goodness from Villa Al Godwin!

LOOK OUT!!! It's the Godwin Tongue!!!
Mmmmmm, yummy vegetables!
Now that's a cucumber!
Watch out, the girl's got a butter knife!
Ahhhh, the first bite...
And the verdict is....
The aftermath...
